Finding Yellow appoints new CEO - Andrew Warren

The Finding Yellow Board would like to welcome Andrew Warren appointed as the CEO on 1 February. Andrew’s involvement with Finding Yellow started more than 18 years ago when he joined the then Cessnock Hostel as a Casual Support Worker, later joining our Board for a number of years and after an extended absence forging a career in the sector he returned in 2017 as a Consultant, in 2018 was appointed Chief Operating Officer and recently appointed as Chief Executive Officer.

Andrew is a seasoned Not For Profit professional, with qualifications in Disability and Business and over two decades experience working in the community services, disability and charity sectors; holding senior executive, consultancy, board and advisory roles for numerous non-government organisations.

Andrew’s  experience combined with a demonstrated capacity to build and maintain effective community partnerships has enabled him to form a well-earned reputation for exceeding expectations, delivering results and achieving value added services across multiple organisations; strengthening their ability to respond to the changing needs of their stakeholder population.

Additionally, Andrew brings invaluable personal insight to the Finding Yellow, having sustained a permanent disability early in his working life, is an NDIS participant, passionate sector advocate and thrives on challenging the status quo to tackle complex issues that get in the way of all people living a good life.

With the introduction of Andrew as CEO, the Board of Directors, are confident Finding Yellow is well prepared for the future as we continue to evolve and fulfil our purpose as originally intended by the founding families of the organisation
